Data Deletion & Access Revocation

How to revoke Revive's access to your Google account and request deletion of the data we hold about you.

This page explains how to revoke Revive’s access to your Google account and how to request deletion of the data Fortify Media, Inc. holds about you. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Revoke Revive’s access to your Google account

You can remove Revive’s access at any time—this immediately stops any further access to your Google Drive files:

  1. Go to Google Account → Third-party apps & services.
  2. Select Revive by Fortify Media (the name shown on Google’s consent screen).
  3. Choose Remove access.

You can also uninstall the add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace → Manage apps. Revoking access does not by itself delete data already stored by Revive—use the steps below for that.

2. Delete your data

To request deletion of your Revive account and the personal data associated with it, email legal@fortifymedia.io from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my data.” We verify the request comes from the account owner and then delete your data.

What we delete:

  • Your account profile (name, email, credentials).
  • Any source or output file content retained in our processing systems.
  • Usage and job-history records tied to your account.

What we may retain, and why:

  • Billing and transaction records required for tax, accounting, and audit purposes (up to 7 years), retained in de-identified form where feasible.
  • Records we are legally required to keep, or that are necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

3. Timing

We acknowledge deletion requests within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, except for the limited records described above. Backups containing your data are purged on their normal rotation, no later than 90 days.

4. Files in your own Google Drive

Restored files that Revive wrote back to your Google Drive belong to you and remain in your Drive. Deleting your Revive data does not remove those files—you control them directly in Google Drive.
